Jakob Hellsten verlängert Vertrag bei Modo Hockey um zwei Jahre

Der 26-jährige Torhüter Jakob Hellsten, der Mitte Februar zu Modo Hockey stieß, hat seinen Vertrag bei dem Verein um zwei Jahre verlängert. Er wird weiterhin gemeinsam mit Adam Werner das Torhüter-Duo bilden. Die Einigung folgt kurz nach dem Ausscheiden von Modo im Playoff-Halbfinale gegen BIK Karlskoga.

Jakob Hellsten kam Mitte Februar von Leksand zu Modo und konnte sich schnell beweisen, unter anderem mit zwei Shutouts während der Playoffs. Trotz der Halbfinalniederlage des Teams gegen BIK Karlskoga äußerte sich Hellsten sehr begeistert über den Verbleib in Örnsköldsvik. 'Ich wollte unbedingt bleiben', sagte Hellsten.
