Julia Roberts übernimmt Hauptrolle in der Home Economics-Filmadaption für Sony

Sonys 3000 Pictures hat sich die Rechte an Katy Hays’ kommendem Roman Home Economics gesichert, wobei Julia Roberts die Hauptrolle übernehmen und als Produzentin fungieren wird.

Der Abschluss des Deals wurde diese Woche bekannt gegeben. Roberts wird den Film über ihr Label Red Om Films gemeinsam mit Lisa Roberts Gillan und Marisa Yeres Gill produzieren. Marc Platt wird ebenfalls als Produzent über Marc Platt Productions beteiligt sein. Hays wird den Roman selbst für die Leinwand adaptieren und als ausführende Produzentin an dem Film mitwirken.
