Julia Roberts spelar huvudrollen i filmatiseringen av Home Economics för Sony

Sonys 3000 Pictures har förvärvat rättigheterna till Katy Hays kommande roman Home Economics, där Julia Roberts är knuten till projektet som både skådespelare och producent.

Affären tillkännagavs denna vecka. Roberts kommer att producera genom sitt bolag Red Om Films tillsammans med Lisa Roberts Gillan och Marisa Yeres Gill. Marc Platt kommer också att producera via Marc Platt Productions. Hays ska själv skriva filmmanuset baserat på romanen och även verka som exekutiv producent för filmen.
