Kentucky Three-Day Event veröffentlicht Startzeiten für die Geländeprüfung

Das Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event hat die Startzeiten für die Geländeprüfung am Samstag, den 25. April, bekannt gegeben. Caroline Pamukcu und HSH Tolan King eröffnen den CCI5* um 13:30 Uhr Ortszeit, wobei britische Reiter in regelmäßigen Abständen antreten werden. Drei britische Paare sind zudem in der CCI4*-S-Klasse vertreten.

Die CCI5*-Geländeprüfung beginnt um 13:30 Uhr (18:30 Uhr britischer Zeit), wobei die Reiter alle fünf Minuten starten. Pamukcu wird die Phase auch mit ihrem dritten Pferd, HSH Blake, um 15:50 Uhr (20:50 Uhr britischer Zeit) abschließen. Zu den britischen Teilnehmern zählen David Doel mit Galileo Nieuwmoed um 13:55 Uhr, Tom Jackson mit Plot Twist B um 14:15 Uhr, Harry Meade mit Superstition um 14:30 Uhr, Tom McEwen mit Brookfield Quality um 15:25 Uhr sowie erneut Meade mit Grafennacht um 15:45 Uhr (alle britischen Zeiten in Klammern zuzüglich fünf Stunden).

Twenty-nine horses passed the first trot-up at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event on April 22, marking the start of the five-star competition in Kentucky. No horses were referred to the holding box despite minor spooks from two entries. The cross-country course, designed by Derek di Grazia, features 28 fences over 6312 meters with an optimum time of 11 minutes 5 seconds.

The Mars Badminton Horse Trials have released start times for the cross-country phase on May 9, with Harry Meade set to be first out at 11.30am on Et Hop Du Matz.
