Konstantin Komarek kehrt nach 13 Jahren in Schweden zu den Vienna Capitals zurück

Der erfahrene Center Konstantin Komarek kehrt für die kommende Saison nach Österreich zurück, um für die Vienna Capitals zu spielen. Damit endet sein 13-jähriger Aufenthalt im schwedischen Eishockey, der unter anderem drei Spielzeiten bei Västerås umfasste.

Konstantin Komarek und Västerås gehen nach drei gemeinsamen Spielzeiten getrennte Wege. Er war vor der Saison 2023/24 zum Verein gestoßen und fungierte in den vergangenen zwei Jahren als Kapitän. In der letzten Spielzeit erzielte Komarek 32 Punkte in 43 Hauptrundenspielen und fügte weitere acht Punkte in der Qualifikationsrunde gegen Troja-Ljungby hinzu, womit er den Verbleib von Västerås in der Hockeyallsvenskan sicherte.
