The win completed a series sweep for the Dodgers. Betts went 2-for-4 and has now recorded a hit in five consecutive games.
Betts delivered the key blow after Freddie Freeman drew a bases-loaded walk to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead. Facing Padres starter Michael King, Betts lined a sinker into left-center field for two runs that proved decisive.
The performance marks a turnaround for Betts, who missed time early in the 2026 season with a right oblique strain and posted a low .591 OPS through his first 35 games. Since June 13, he has hit .368 with a .410 on-base percentage and .684 slugging percentage over 14 games.
