On Eid-el-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan, several Nigerian leaders urged Muslims to intensify prayers for peace and prosperity in the country. Governor Dauda Lawal, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Senator Barau I. Jibrin issued such calls. An Enugu local government chairman also sued for unity and peaceful co-existence.
