Rappler has launched the Live Jam Access Pass, enabling Rappler+ members to attend Live Jam sessions in person at its newsroom in Pasig City. This expands on the digital Live Jam experiences by providing opportunities for live viewing. Non-members can join online through the Rappler app.
In an era where much of life has shifted online, genuine spaces for connection have grown more vital. Through Rappler+, the outlet continues to foster a community that extends beyond news reading, where members can gather, share ideas, and experience culture together.
This year, Rappler is broadening these opportunities with a new offering for its membership: the Live Jam Access Pass. Live Jam serves as Rappler’s signature platform for music and performances, renowned for showcasing both established and emerging artists from the Philippines and abroad. For years, audiences have engaged with these sessions via videos and digital releases. Now, Rappler+ members will receive exclusive invitations through newsletters whenever a new artist is set to record a Live Jam session at the Rappler newsroom. They can then reserve limited seats to observe the performance live as it unfolds.
Each recording features restricted slots, fostering an intimate setting where members can witness the music, narratives, and discussions behind every act. The Live Jam experience reaches beyond the newsroom as well. Via the Rappler app, audiences—including non-Rappler+ members—can access the Live Jam chat room to follow sessions and submit questions to featured artists.
Whether present in the room or participating online, the aim remains consistent: to draw music enthusiasts and communities nearer.
