Sirius Dice partners for official Lord of the Rings tabletop accessories

Sirius Dice has announced a collaboration with Asmodee and Middle-earth Enterprises to produce officially licensed Lord of the Rings accessories for tabletop gaming. The initial lineup includes adventure dice sets launching in September and treasure packs arriving in January 2027. Further products are expected to be revealed in the coming months.

Sirius Dice, known for its themed tabletop accessories including sets tied to Baldur's Gate 3, is expanding into the Lord of the Rings universe through a new partnership. The company is working with Asmodee and Middle-earth Enterprises to create a range of products inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's works.

The partnership draws on the enduring popularity of Lord of the Rings in tabletop gaming, from role-playing games like The One Ring to upcoming titles such as Foes of Middle-earth. These new accessories aim to let players incorporate elements of Middle-earth into their sessions, regardless of the specific game system.

First to launch will be The Lord of the Rings Adventure Dice sets in September, coinciding with the Dungeons & Dragons Season of Magic. Each set features the standard seven polyhedral dice used in D20-based systems, themed around iconic characters, symbols, and moments from Middle-earth. While the full lineup remains under wraps, it is anticipated to include representations of key figures from the Fellowship.

Following in January 2027, the company will release Treasure Packs—blind boxes containing collectible items and oversized d20s modeled after Lord of the Rings characters. Based on previous Sirius Dice products, these are expected to offer high-quality designs, similar to those in their Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons lines.

The press release indicates that more announcements, previews, and details will follow, suggesting additional tabletop accessories may emerge from this licensing agreement. For reference, examples of Sirius Dice's prior licensed products can be found on their official website.

This development adds to the growing array of Middle-earth-themed gaming options, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts building their dice collections.
