Sky Sports verlängert Übertragungsvertrag für die Formel 1

Die Formel 1 hat eine neue langfristige Partnerschaft mit Sky Sports für exklusive Live-Übertragungsrechte in Großbritannien, Irland und Italien vereinbart. Der Vertrag läuft in Großbritannien und Irland bis 2034 sowie in Italien bis 2032.

Die Vereinbarung verlängert einen früheren, 2022 unterzeichneten Vertrag, der ursprünglich 2029 ausgelaufen wäre. Sky Sports sicherte sich erstmals 2012 die Rechte für eine komplette Saison und wird im Rahmen der neuen Bedingungen auch weiterhin über die F2, F3, die F1 Academy sowie den Porsche Supercup berichten. Laut Sky war die Saison 2025 die bislang meistgesehene F1-Kampagne des Senders.

Following its October 2025 deal for exclusive US Formula 1 broadcast rights, Apple has launched a dedicated F1 channel in the TV app. The channel features event placeholders, Sky Sports schedules, season highlights, and bundled premium streaming, gearing up for the March season opener in Australia.
