Sony has released the InZone M10S 2, a refined version of its 27-inch OLED esports monitor. The new model boosts refresh rates to 480Hz at 1440p and 720Hz at 720p in a 24.5-inch mode. It maintains the $1,100 price and is set to ship later this year.
The InZone M10S 2 builds on its predecessor, the M10S, with incremental enhancements for competitive gaming. Key upgrades include an additional antiglare film over the existing matte surface and increased tilt adjustment for better ergonomics. These changes aim to improve visibility and comfort during extended play sessions. Sony also introduced a new Motion Blur Reduction feature. This system compensates for typical brightness drops in such modes by selectively boosting brightness on pixels that remain lit across frames, potentially enhancing clarity without distracting fluctuations. The display retains core features like HDR support, FPS Pro modes that highlight player outlines for quicker spotting, and a simulation of old-school Twisted Nematic panels. As reported by CNET, these updates make only modest improvements over the prior model without altering the overall design or price point.
