Texas woman charged in girlfriend's alleged child abuse cover-up

A 30-year-old Houston woman is in jail after authorities accused her of helping cover up severe injuries to her two young children. Her girlfriend remains at large with an arrest warrant. The case involves a 3-year-old who suffered a brain bleed and other injuries last September.

Jamesha Wilson faces four counts of injury to a child by omission and five counts of intentional injury to a child. Deputies say the allegations center on her 2-year-old and 3-year-old children at an apartment complex on Barberry Drive in Houston's Sunnyside neighborhood. Kevonnisha Jones, also 30, is wanted on similar charges after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
