YouTube adds buy with google pay to tv app

YouTube is integrating a new purchasing tool into its television application.

The platform now allows viewers to make purchases from advertisers using Buy with Google Pay directly in the TV app. The feature is designed to complete transactions in just two clicks.

YouTube has increased prices for its Premium service in the United States for the first time since 2023. The individual plan now costs $15.99 a month, up $2, while the family plan rises $4 to $26.99. The Instagram for TV app launched on Samsung Smart TVs in the US on Monday. Users can now browse Reels, Stories and Channels on compatible models from 2020 onward. The service already runs on Amazon Fire TV and Google TV devices.
