Stockport's popular free street festival, Stock Party, will return on July 4 for a larger town-wide block party. Organizers promise an expanded event featuring street food, pop-up bars, DJ sets, and family-friendly activities across key town locations. The collaboration involves Track Brewing Co., Robinsons Brewery, Cloudwater, SK1 Records, Totally Stockport, and new partner Stockport County FC.

At the third Dumaguete Literary Festival from April 17 to 19, award-winning poet Merlie Alunan urged young writers to produce and read literature in their own languages. The event also marked Dumaguete's designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Literature.

Despite gloomy weather, participants filled Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan with vibrant Easter bonnets on Sunday. The annual Easter Parade and Bonnet Festival drew crowds young and old, including dogs, outside St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Photographer Amir Hamja documented the event's creative headpieces.

Das Festival Rock en Baradero 2026, das am 3. und 4. April im Anfiteatro Municipal de Baradero stattfand, zog mit ausverkauften Tickets und über 30 Bands auf drei Bühnen mehr als 25.000 Menschen an. Rata Blanca und Babasónicos sorgten am Samstag für die Höhepunkte mit massiven Pogos und Sets voller Klassiker. Die Veranstaltung festigte damit ihren Status als Zentrum des argentinischen Rocks.
