Ecopetrol and the Unión Sindical Obrera signed a definitive agreement for the new collective labor convention after more than 990 meetings.
The agreement includes improvements in working conditions, health and education benefits, as well as strengthening diversity, equity and inclusion. It also covers social investment plans under criteria of reasonableness, austerity and efficiency.
The state-owned company additionally signed 66 definitive agreements with other union organizations. The new pact will be valid for six years starting January 1, 2026.
In the coming days the text will be deposited with the Ministry of Labor to begin a joint national socialization campaign.
