Egypt's Investment Minister Mohamed Farid met with Procter & Gamble executives to discuss the company's plans to expand local manufacturing and exports.
The meeting was attended by Karim El Sherif, CEO and General Manager of Procter & Gamble Egypt and Africa Expansion Markets, along with officials from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
Farid reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting existing investors, noting that consistent economic policies are strengthening confidence for long-term expansion.
El Sherif described Egypt as one of the company's key production bases and praised the Export Development Fund for boosting competitiveness, with a focus on increasing local inputs and exports to Gulf and African markets.
