Police spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli confirmed the crash resulted in fuel spilling across the road. Emergency teams and cleanup operations are securing the area. Motorists traveling from Winburg toward Senekal are advised to use the Winburg town off-ramp. Those heading from Senekal toward Winburg should detour through Winburg town to access the N1 highway. Road users are asked to maintain safe distances and follow instructions from officials on the ground. Further updates will be issued once the road is cleared and reopened.
