Ohio woman charged after alleged lighter fluid assault

Amanda McClure, 48, was arrested in Toledo on May 27 after police responded to a reported fight. Authorities say she sprayed lighter fluid on another person and gave an ambiguous answer when questioned about her intent.

Police arrived after a call about a physical altercation. McClure was holding a lighter and had allegedly hit the other person with her hands, pulled their hair, and sprayed lighter fluid into their face, eyes, and body, according to an affidavit filed with the Toledo Municipal Court.
