Olivia Rodrigo has announced Daisy Chain Fields, a new single-day music festival with an all-women lineup set for August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California.
The event will feature performers including Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage, Mitski, The Breeders, KATSEYE, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri and others, along with special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O and Sarah McLachlan. Rodrigo will also perform. All net proceeds will go to nonprofits supporting women and girls, such as Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights and Baby2Baby.
Rodrigo shared details in a Pitchfork cover story published June 22. She described the festival as a longtime dream and said it draws inspiration from events like Lilith Fair. Presale tickets go on sale June 24 at 10 a.m. PT.
The announcement follows the June 12 release of her third album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 485,000 equivalent album units. All 13 tracks from the album reached the top 30 on the Hot 100, including the track “What’s Wrong With Me” featuring Robert Smith at No. 17.
