Olivia Rodrigo surprises No Doubt at final Sphere show

No Doubt ended its Sphere residency in Las Vegas on Saturday with a surprise appearance by Olivia Rodrigo. The singer joined the band onstage after Gwen Stefani spotted her in the crowd.

No Doubt performed the final show of its 18-date Sphere run on Saturday. Stefani noticed a sign held by a fan that read “I’m just a girl who wants the last hug at the last Sphere show” and invited the holder onstage.

The fan turned out to be Rodrigo, who had released her album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love the previous day. Stefani told the audience: “Is that Olivia Rodrigo? Oh my gosh. Give it up for Olivia Rodrigo! She has a new record that just came out.”

Rodrigo took the microphone and said: “No Doubt best band in the world! I love you so much!” She then left the stage. Stefani later remarked to the crowd: “That was really her.”

Rodrigo has cited No Doubt as an influence and previously appeared with the band at the 2024 Coachella festival.
