Olivia Rodrigo has released her latest single, “The Cure,” along with an accompanying music video. The track comes from her upcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.
The song and video arrived following an appearance on NTS Radio the previous night. During the set, Rodrigo played tracks by Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Elliott Smith, and the Cure before debuting her own new song. The music video, directed by Cat Solen and Jamie Gerin, features Rodrigo as a midcentury nurse in a hospital setting. The album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is scheduled to arrive on June 12.
