Police raided the Seoul city government and six other locations on Friday in connection with the partial collapse of the Seosomun Overpass earlier this week that killed three people and injured three others.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency carried out searches and seizures at seven locations, including the city government's infrastructure headquarters and contractors involved in the demolition.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when a section of the Seosomun Overpass undergoing demolition collapsed, killing three workers and injuring three others.
Police said the raids are part of their investigation to determine the cause of the collapse and to secure related evidence from the involved parties.
