The Sleman Health Office has affirmed its commitment to resolving the alleged medical negligence case that led to the death of a three-year-old child at RSUD Prambanan.
Sleman Health Office head Cahya Purnama said communication between the hospital and the victim's family lawyers is ongoing. He affirmed that the resolution will follow applicable legal procedures.
RSUD Prambanan director Ratih Susila stated the hospital has conducted an internal audit and scheduled a meeting with the family to present the chronology and medical summary. A press conference is planned to provide public clarification.
Polda DIY has received the official report and the case remains under investigation by Ditreskrimsus. Public relations head Kombes Pol Ihsan said witnesses will be summoned and further updates will be provided.
The victim's mother Anastasia Niken Purwandari was accompanied by lawyer Purnomo Susanto during police questioning. The child, named Naura Dwi Meydita Putri, died after an examination on 27 April 2026.
