The Pittsburgh Steelers signed interior offensive lineman Brock Hoffman during the 2026 offseason for $2.5 million, adding versatile depth that can compete at right guard or back up at center.
Hoffman, who signed his initial one-year deal with Pittsburgh in March 2026, brings experience from his time with the Dallas Cowboys under coach Mike McCarthy. Over the past three seasons he has logged 1,212 snaps, including 684 at center, 452 at right guard and 74 at left guard.
The addition gives Pittsburgh a player who can compete for the right guard starting role or serve as a backup at center. Hoffman is also familiar with the coaching staff from his prior work with Mike McCarthy.
The Steelers also signed cornerback Jamel Dean and running back Rico Dowdle this offseason. Hoffman is viewed as a reliable but less prominent addition that strengthens line depth without requiring a major investment.
