On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Ustaz Solmed responded via an Instagram post. He stated, "Lagi rame nih soal inisial SAM." To prove his identity, he shared a screenshot of his BCA bank account showing the full name Saleh Mahmud Munawir. "Nama saya = Saleh Mahmud Munawir, jadi kalau mau pakai inisial ya SMM bukan SAM," he emphasized. He also asked in a puzzled tone, "Kok bisa-bisanya sih pada nyasar ke IG saya?"
