In Bordesholm, a 37-year-old man allegedly shot a 73-year-old with a crossbow, according to police, leaving the senior seriously injured and requiring emergency surgery in Kiel. The victim is now out of life-threatening danger. The suspect was arrested and remanded in custody.
On Monday evening around 20:30, a dispute erupted in Heintzestraße, Bordesholm, in front of a villa opposite the Verwaltungsakademie between a 37-year-old man and a 73-year-old resident. The younger man allegedly shot the senior with a crossbow at the front door, inflicting life-threatening injuries, according to police spokesman Sönke Petersen. The 73-year-old was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Kiel for emergency surgery. “He is now out of life-threatening danger,” Petersen told KN upon request.
