A fire in an apartment in Esslingen caused significant property damage on Saturday evening. No one was injured, and six residents had to evacuate the building. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading.
Police in Esslingen reported that the fire broke out in a first-floor apartment of a multi-family house. More than 50 firefighters responded and prevented the flames from spreading to other units.
Six people had to leave the building temporarily. The property damage amounts to several hundred thousand euros, according to police.
