Among the men, Michal Krcmar and Vitezslav Hornig anchor the group, joined by Petr Hak, Tomas Mikyska and Mikulas Karlik. On the women's side, Marketa Davidova and Tereza Vobornikova head the lineup, with Lucie Charvatova, Jessica Jislova and Tereza Vinklarkova completing the team. This group reflects the Czech Republic's strong biathlon tradition, with several athletes having competed successfully in recent World Cups and championships.
The Olympic biathlon events will span multiple days, starting with the 4x6 km mixed relay on Sunday, February 8, at 2:05 p.m. Subsequent competitions include the men's 20 km individual on Tuesday, February 10, at 1:30 p.m., and the women's 15 km individual the following day at 2:15 p.m. Sprints follow on February 13 and 14, pursuits on February 15, relays on February 17 and 18, and mass starts on February 20 and 21. These events will test the Czech team's endurance and precision in the Italian Alps.
