Great Britain's Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat secured two victories on February 6 at the 2026 Winter Olympics, defeating Sweden 7-4 and South Korea 8-2 to remain undefeated at 5-0 in mixed doubles curling. The pair's success was overshadowed by a surprise photo request from rapper Snoop Dogg, who is serving as an honorary coach for Team USA. Meanwhile, the United States also stayed unbeaten, topping the standings alongside Britain.
In the Cortina Curling Stadium at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, Great Britain's mixed doubles team of Jennifer Dodds and Bruce Mouat continued their dominant run on February 6. Fresh off a 7-4 win over Sweden's Rasmus and Isabella Wranaa in the morning session—a rematch of their 2022 bronze medal loss—the Scottish duo returned in the afternoon to crush South Korea's Jeong Yeong-seok and Kim Seon-yeong 8-2. Britain stole three shots in the first two ends against Korea, building a lead they never surrendered, with Dodds securing key points for a 5-1 halftime advantage.
The victories kept Britain at 5-0, positioning them atop the round-robin standings and one win shy of likely semifinal qualification. Mouat noted the competitive field: "We're probably looking at making sure we get to six wins, that is probably going to guarantee it, but with a lot of the top teams beating each other, it might even be tough to get through on 6-3." Dodds expressed delight at the sport's visibility: "I’m just really glad that curling’s getting centre stage... If curling’s the number one story, that means that curling is getting known and that’s what I love to hear."
Adding star power, Snoop Dogg, acting as Team USA's honorary coach and NBC correspondent, requested a selfie with Mouat and Dodds after their Sweden win. "He’s just asked for a photo with us, so I'm feeling pretty good about myself," Mouat said. Dodds added that Snoop "said he'd heard about Bruce." The rapper, who carried the Olympic flame earlier, also tried sweeping on the ice and cheered USA's 7-5 upset over Canada and 8-1 rout of Czechia, keeping them at 4-0.
Elsewhere, defending champions Italy rebounded with a 12-4 thrashing of Switzerland and 7-4 win over Estonia, while Norway's Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten earned their first victory, a 9-0 steal against Sweden. No evening session occurred due to Opening Ceremonies in Milan and Cortina. Britain faces Canada and the USA on February 7.
