El banco atribuyó la decisión a las notables mejoras en su rendimiento financiero y operativo, impulsadas por un enfoque estratégico en la rentabilidad, la expansión del negocio y la eficiencia operativa. Los accionistas también dieron luz verde a un nuevo consejo de administración para el próximo mandato, tras la aprobación de los candidatos por parte del Banco Central de Egipto. Basel El Hini actuará como presidente no ejecutivo, mientras que Ghanem continuará como consejero delegado y director gerente. El consejo cuenta con los miembros no ejecutivos Randa Al-Menshawy, Hani Sweilam, Alaa Farouk y Sherif El-Sherbiny en representación de la Autoridad de Nuevas Comunidades Urbanas.
