Örebro Hockey hires Fredrik Hallberg as assistant coach amid staff changes

Following recent assistant coach changes—including Calle Gunnarsson's return to his development manager role—Örebro Hockey has appointed Fredrik Hallberg as assistant coach under new head coach Martin Filander for the upcoming SHL season. Hallberg, with experience from AIK, Oskarshamn, and Leksand, replaces Gunnarsson on a one-year contract.

This hire completes Örebro Hockey's coaching staff refresh after Niklas Eriksson's departure and Martin Filander's arrival as head coach. The lineup now includes Filander, assistants Marcus Weinstock and Fredrik Hallberg, and goaltender coach Kristoffer Eriksson. His background spans SHL and Hockeyallsvenskan. This continues a series of staff adjustments following Tobias Thermell's exit and Gunnarsson's temporary stint.
