The family of Pratama Arhan is mourning the loss of his father, Sutrisno bin Raji, who passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, around 6:00 a.m. WIB at RSUD Soetijono in Blora, Central Java. Arhan's brother, Dimas Roni Saputra, revealed that the deceased had long battled illness, with complications as the main cause of death. "The illness was long-standing, complications, died in the hospital," Dimas said at the mourning house in Sidomulyo Village, Banjarejo District, Blora Regency.
Sutrisno had been in intensive care for several days prior to his passing. Just weeks earlier, in mid-November 2025, Arhan shared a warm family photo on Instagram showing him embracing his smiling parents. The post featured only a white heart emoji, symbolizing deep familial bonds.
Condolences poured in from teammates and public figures. Andre Rosiade, Arhan's former in-law whose daughter Azizah Salsha was once married to Arhan in an amicable divorce, posted on Instagram: "Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rojiun. Bapak Sutrisno orang baik, Insya Allah Husnul Khotimah. Aamiin." Teammate Asnawi Mangkualam wrote: "Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un. Turut berduka cita Ho, yang kuat semoga amal ibadah Bapak diterima di sisi Allah SWT." Coach Indra Sjafri prayed for the deceased's grave to be widened and illuminated.
Amid the grief, Azizah Salsha visited with her mother and sister, warmly welcomed by Arhan's family. However, she faced online backlash for wearing a blue jacket and jeans without a hijab. Azizah explained she intended to visit her ailing former father-in-law in the ICU but learned of his death upon landing. "I want to clarify a bit. Initially, I intended to visit. But when I landed, I just got the sad news. So I came straight in the clothes I wore from the airport," she posted on Instagram. She apologized and urged the public to focus on praying for Arhan's family.
Arhan and Azizah's divorce had been conflict-free, with mutual respect between families. Currently, Arhan is in Thailand fulfilling club commitments and has not issued an official statement.
