Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin reached a milestone with his 100th NHL goal during a comeback win over the Seattle Kraken. The 25-year-old Swede scored in the second period to cut the deficit, helping his team rally from 0-2 down to a 3-2 shootout victory. Dahlin has now recorded 427 points in 579 games with Buffalo.
In his 579th game for the Buffalo Sabres, Rasmus Dahlin notched his 100th NHL goal against the Seattle Kraken. The power-play tally came in the second period when teammate Tage Thompson passed the puck to Dahlin near the circle. Dahlin skated forward and fired a wrist shot that clanged off the crossbar and in, pulling the Sabres within one at 1-2. Sabres forward Tage Thompson said, “As soon as we got the reduction, I think everyone in our team felt that we would fix this.” The Sabres mounted a comeback from an early 0-2 deficit to win 3-2 in a shootout. Dahlin, who is 25, has tallied 67 points over 70 games this season. Across his Buffalo career, he has amassed 427 points, including 100 goals and 327 assists.
