Los Pittsburgh Steelers firmaron el lunes al receptor abierto Germie Bernard y al corredor Eli Heidenreich con contratos de novato por cuatro años. Con estos movimientos, solo queda pendiente de firma el quarterback de tercera ronda Drew Allar, de la clase del draft de 2026 del equipo.

Bernard, seleccionado en la posición global número 47 tras un intercambio, ganará aproximadamente 10.6 millones de dólares durante el contrato, con un bono por firma de 4.2 millones de dólares. Se espera que el exreceptor de Alabama compita por el puesto de tercer receptor abierto detrás de Michael Pittman Jr. y DK Metcalf.
