Dos hombres de 22 y 61 años han fallecido este domingo tras sufrir una caída con un parapente en el paraje de La Muela, en Alarilla (Guadalajara). El suceso ocurrió sobre las 17.40 horas, según el Servicio de Emergencias 112 de Castilla-La Mancha. La Guardia Civil investiga las causas, apuntando al fuerte viento como posible hipótesis.

Dos hombres perdieron la vida este domingo en Alarilla, un municipio de 144 habitantes en la provincia de Guadalajara, mientras practicaban parapente en el popular paraje de La Muela. Según fuentes municipales citadas por EL PAÍS, las víctimas eran un monitor de 61 años de una escuela de parapente y un alumno de 22 años. El Servicio de Emergencias 112 de Castilla-La Mancha recibió el aviso a las 17.40 o 17.49 horas, dependiendo de las fuentes.

Los equipos de rescate, incluyendo un helicóptero medicalizado, una UVI móvil y una ambulancia de soporte vital, se desplazaron al lugar junto a bomberos de Azuqueca de Henares y efectivos de la Guardia Civil. Pese a los esfuerzos, no pudieron salvar a los fallecidos.

La Guardia Civil maneja como hipótesis principal el fuerte viento que arreciaba en la zona en ese momento. La Muela es un punto frecuentado por aficionados e instructores por su altitud de casi 1.000 metros y desniveles de 300 metros, cerca de Madrid. Sin embargo, los accidentes son habituales allí; el último grave ocurrió en agosto pasado con dos heridos.
