Västerås IK has added 24-year-old forward Sebastian Falk to its roster ahead of the upcoming Hockeyallsvenskan season. The Stockholm native joins after a prolific stint with Lindlövens IF, where he recorded 72 points in 49 games. Falk, who has prior experience in the league, aims to secure a permanent spot.
Västerås IK is strengthening its squad with the signing of Sebastian Falk, a forward who has twice attempted to break into Hockeyallsvenskan before. The 24-year-old most recently starred for Lindlövens IF in Hockeyettan, helping the team reach the northern series playoffs while amassing 72 points over 49 matches. Falk has previously played for AIK and Vita Hästen, with loan spells at BIK Karlskoga and Västerås itself, where he scored on debut against IK Oskarshamn last season. Sebastian Falk expressed excitement about returning to Västerås. Sport chief Stefan Holmgren praised Falk's offensive skills and past exposure to the league. The contract covers the coming season as Västerås rebuilds its team.
