Christophe Decarnin launches limited jeans capsule with Bond

Fashion designer Christophe Decarnin has released a limited-edition capsule of Japanese denim jeans in collaboration with the San Francisco-based luxury platform Bond. Only 888 individually numbered pairs are available in black and white. The collection features his-and-her styles with custom zip details and removable buckle straps.

The jeans include side zips extending to just below the knee and inner seams with gussets for flaring. They come in three lengths per size for fit customization, with four straps on women's versions and three on men's.

Decarnin, previously known for his work at Balmain and Faith Connexion, described the project in an interview. He cited a shared vision with Bond for redefining luxury through scarcity and handcraft rather than high volume.

Bond hired Decarnin after his prior colleague Jungmi Park joined the company. The designer noted his long passion for denim and chose Japanese fabric for its quality and cultural precision.

He added that the limited run aligns with his view of true luxury as rare and time-intensive, similar to Hermès bags that require months of waiting.
