Eco Datacentersin valitus konesalin lupaehdoista hylättiin oikeudessa

Maa- ja ympäristötuomioistuin on hylännyt Eco Datacentersin valituksen. Suunnitellun Hedemoran konesalin toimilupa on siten rajattu vuoteen 2040 saakka.

Nackan käräjäoikeuden alainen maa- ja ympäristötuomioistuin on päättänyt tukea Taalainmaan lääninhallituksen kantaa. Tuomioistuin hylkää siten yhtiön valituksen, joka koski toimiluvan ehtoja.

Eco Datacenters eli EcoDC on perustellut valitustaan sillä, että määräaika vaarantaa hankkeen rahoituksen. Yhtiö jätti valituksen ehtojen muuttamiseksi.

Oikeus perustelee päätöstään alan nopealla teknologisella kehityksellä. Hedemoran konesalin toimilupa on siten voimassa vain vuoteen 2040 asti.
