Eichel led the league with 19 points, Scheifele tied for the goal-scoring lead with nine and Dobes posted a perfect 6-0-0 record. The National Hockey League revealed its Three Stars of the Month for October 2025 on November 1, presented by GEICO. Vegas Golden Knights center Jack Eichel earned first-star honors after leading the NHL with 8 goals and 11 assists for 19 points in 11 games. He collected points in eight of those contests, including a seven-game point streak from October 8-20 where he tallied 6-10—16. Eichel notched six multi-point games, two four-point performances—1-3—4 against the Los Angeles Kings on October 8 and 0-4—4 versus the Calgary Flames on October 18—and ranked first in power-play assists (9) and power-play points (9). He also tied for fourth in shots on goal (47), fifth in assists (11) and game-winning goals (2), and eighth in goals (8). Fresh off an eight-year, $108 million contract extension, Eichel helped the Golden Knights to a 6-2-3 record and 15 points, topping the Pacific Division.

Winnipeg Jets center Mark Scheifele took second star after recording points in 10 of 11 games, tying for the NHL lead with 9 goals and finishing second overall with 9-9—18 points. This marked his first career selection for the monthly honors. Scheifele led the Jets in goals (9), points (18), power-play goals (3) and game-winning goals (2), while his nine assists tied Kyle Connor and Josh Morrissey for the team high. He surpassed Blake Wheeler as the franchise's all-time points leader with his 813th point, a power-play goal against the Nashville Predators on October 18. Scheifele began the season with a six-game point streak (7-3—10) from October 9-20, including goals in five straight (7-0—7), and closed the month with points in four consecutive games (2-6—8). He posted six multi-point efforts, including two three-point games, and the Jets went 6-1-0 in his seven goal-scoring outings, finishing October 8-3-0 with 16 points.

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jakub Dobes rounded out the honors as third star with a flawless 6-0-0 record, a 1.97 goals-against average and .930 save percentage in six starts. The 24-year-old rookie made at least 30 saves in three games and allowed two or fewer goals in four, becoming the 10th rookie goalie in NHL history to win his first six starts of a season. Dobes ranked first among qualified goaltenders in 5-on-5 save percentage (.959), tied for second in wins (6), third in high-danger save percentage (.918), and fourth in goals-against average (1.97) and save percentage (.930). His efforts helped the Canadiens to an 8-3-0 record and 16 points, leading the Atlantic Division. Following a 4-3 overtime win over the Seattle Kraken on October 28, Dobes joined Carey Price, Wayne Thomas and Ken Dryden as the fourth Canadiens goalie since 1967-68 to start a season with at least six straight wins.
