Hedemoran kunta ottaa käyttöön uuden hulevesimaksun 1. kesäkuuta alkaen hallitakseen lisääntynyttä sademäärää ja vähentääkseen tulvariskejä.

Hedemora Energi ilmoitti toimenpiteestä lehdistötiedotteessa. Valituilla alueilla sijaitsevien kiinteistöjen omistajat maksavat maksua, jolla rahoitetaan hulevesijärjestelmän nykyaikaistaminen. Toimenpide on saanut alkunsa muuttuvasta ilmastosta, joka tuo mukanaan entistä voimakkaampia rankkasateita. Kunta haluaa vahvistaa hulevesien hallintaa kestävämmän järjestelmän saavuttamiseksi.
