Lords of the fallen update 1.096 incorporates community feedback

CI Games has released update 1.096 for Lords of the Fallen, addressing community feedback following version 2.5. The patch introduces gameplay tweaks, including options for New Game Plus modes and balance adjustments to weapons and spells. It also refines the Eidolon of Adyr boss encounter for better playability.

The update, live as of December 22, 2025, is designated as version 1.096.000 on consoles and applies various enhancements based on player input. Key gameplay changes include the ability to select between Legacy Mode and Veteran Mode when starting or restarting New Game Plus, with characters now transferable to Veteran Mode.

The Veteran of the Veil armor set becomes account-wide after completing Veteran Mode on any character, automatically adding it to other characters' inventories—though this does not apply retroactively. Animations for the Judge Cleric’s Corrupted Sword have been refreshed, aligning with updates to weapons like Pieta’s Sword, the Flickering Flail, and the Punishment and Judgement Hammers.

Additional functionality allows discarding extra copies of the Moon’s Judgement weapon, provided the player retains at least one. Balance tweaks affect the Flickering Flail and Lightreaper Daggers. The Blessed Reflection spell now operates properly in Veteran Mode, and navigation on the new game Difficulty Selection screen has been streamlined.

A new special attack input avoids conflicts with the multi-hit unlocks of the Punishment and Judgement Hammers. The Radiant Purifier Halberd’s running light attack connects more reliably with foes. Stability improvements occur in shared co-op sessions during player deaths.

For the Eidolon of Adyr boss, health values are lowered in Legacy Mode. A camera adjustment during teleport attacks enhances visibility of the boss's movements. Spawning mechanics update for repeated attempts after saving and reloading, while the shield outline vanishes during Soul Siphon. Phase 3 teleports prevent wall-sticking, and initial spawn avoids staggering, eliminating issues like missing health bars or movement restrictions.

These modifications aim to improve accessibility and fairness without altering core mechanics significantly.
