He added that Congress governments often face anti-incumbency shortly after forming and lack funds for basic salaries in places like Himachal Pradesh.
Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar responded to the remarks while in Raichur district. He asserted that all chairs in Karnataka remain strong and dismissed any notion of instability. The Congress government in the state is approaching its three-year mark amid public posturing by aides of both leaders over a possible power rotation.
