Ralph Lauren unveils spring 2027 menswear in Milan

Ralph Lauren presented his spring 2027 menswear collections in Milan on June 19, featuring Purple Label and Polo lines inspired by collegiate style and the gentleman athlete.

The designer returned to the Italian city for his second menswear show in six months. Purple Label opened the presentation with tailored looks that mixed polish and utility, including silk-linen tweed suits paired with fisherman sandals and washed indigo satin jackets.

John Wrazej, senior brand creative director, noted backstage that Lauren seeks pieces with “utility and rusticity.” A blue double-breasted evening jacket featured intricate sashiko hand-stitching based on Art Deco motifs from the brand’s archive, crafted in Japan and finished in Italy.

The Polo segment highlighted volume in the “Hayworth” pant and mixed references such as frog-camo pants, madras fishing jackets, and rugby tops with crossbones motifs. Accessories included espadrilles made from stitched ties and scarves depicting cricketing scenes.

The collections drew from 1920s Riva-racing imagery and Western tooling details on sunglasses and watches.
