SIM Keliling operates limitedly in Jakarta on February 1, 2026

The SIM Keliling service continues on Sunday, February 1, 2026, albeit limited to two points in DKI Jakarta and one in South Tangerang. This service facilitates driver's license renewal without visiting a Satpas office, operating from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB.

SIM Keliling remains a practical option for the public to renew their Driver's License (SIM) validity without visiting a Satpas office. The service is valued for its efficiency, with short processes and accessible public locations.

According to official information from Korlantas Polri monitored by VIVA Otomotif, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, the service in DKI Jakarta is limited to two points. In East Jakarta, the SIM Keliling vehicle is stationed at Jalan Raden Inten, right beside McDonald’s Duren Sawit, from 08:00 WIB to 12:00 WIB, with a daily limited quota for applicants.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta residents can use the service at Jalan Panjang, in front of Bank BJB Kebon Jeruk, with the same operating hours. The public is advised to arrive early to avoid long queues due to quota limitations.

The service is also available for South Tangerang residents at Giant Bintaro Sektor 7, scheduled from 08:00 WIB to 12:00 WIB. Note that SIM Keliling only handles renewals for valid SIM A and SIM C. If the validity has expired, applicants must process a new SIM at Satpas, including theory and practical exams.

To apply for renewal, prepare a valid KTP, original SIM along with its copy, and a health examination certificate. Complete documents will expedite the process on-site.

Renewal fees follow Government Regulation Number 60 of 2016 on Non-Tax State Revenue, amounting to Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C. These fees exclude health tests or additional administration.

On weekdays, more SIM Keliling units typically operate and are spread across various Jakarta areas, offering broader location options for the public.
