Matt Clark has kidnapped Adam Newman, joining his brother Nick Newman who was already held captive, in recent episodes of The Young and the Restless. Clark tricked Adam by claiming Nick had overdosed on fentanyl and cocaine before attacking him with a fire extinguisher. Both brothers are now locked in a storage room in Las Vegas.
On The Young and the Restless, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) informed Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) had overdosed and died from a mix of fentanyl and cocaine. Adam refused to believe the claim and demanded to see his brother, dead or alive. Clark initially resisted but eventually agreed to take Adam to Nick, leaving Chelsea behind with Riza Thompson (Tina Casciani).
