AdHoc confirms uncensored Dispatch for Xbox

AdHoc Studio has assured fans that its superhero comedy game Dispatch will launch without censorship on Xbox platforms. The announcement follows concerns raised after the game's censored version on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The Xbox release matches the full versions on PC and PlayStation.

During the Xbox Partner Preview showcase on March 27, AdHoc announced that Dispatch, its episodic superhero workplace comedy, will arrive on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud this summer. The game has sold over 1 million copies in its first 10 days since launching last year, prompting talks of a potential second season with expanded content in response to strong fan interest. AdHoc addressed community worries about censorship, which affects the Nintendo versions where characters' nipples and penises are obscured by black boxes and sexual pleasure sounds are muted by default. 'The Xbox version of Dispatch will be the same full release as the original PC and PlayStation versions,' AdHoc stated on social media. Regarding the Switch versions, the studio added: 'We're still actively working with Nintendo on an update and will let you know as soon as it’s ready.' Players can wishlist the game now ahead of its summer launch.
