Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said on Wednesday he would visit the Ram Temple in Ayodhya after completing construction of Kedareshwar Dham in Etawah.
Speaking to reporters at the party headquarters in Lucknow on his birthday, Akhilesh Yadav responded to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Sunday remarks urging him to visit the Ram Temple for “good sense.”
Akhilesh Yadav said he would perform puja at Kedareshwar Dham before having darshan at the Ram Temple. SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary confirmed Akhilesh has never visited the temple before. The Kedareshwar Dham project spans 11 acres, with its foundation laid in 2021.
Akhilesh Yadav accused the BJP of betraying both Lord Ram and the Constitution. He said the party had hurt people’s faith and played with the Constitution.
