Alexandre Mattiussi presented the AMI Paris Spring 2027 menswear collection during a runway show in Paris amid record heat. The designer highlighted everyday clothing with heart motifs and vibrant colors.
The show took place on one of the hottest days in France's history. Mattiussi remarked backstage, “Paris is burning!” He also shared plans to pick up a new Chihuahua-ish puppy named Abi in the South of France.
The collection featured elevated casual wear including loose shorts, tops with stitched heart outlines, argyle knits, and striped rugby shirts. Nylon pullovers, track jackets, and fitted ribbed knits were paired with items like low-backed slip dresses and leather skirts.
Mattiussi expressed his vision for the line: “I want comfort, I want fun, I want easiness, I want colors, I want joy, and I want optimism.” Outerwear in suede and matte leather evoked vintage styles while maintaining a fresh appeal.
