Real Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa has moved to ease public tensions with Kylian Mbappe over the forward's place in the team. The comments came during a pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's trip to Sevilla.
Arbeloa denied reports that he had told Mbappe he was fourth choice behind Franco Mastantuono, Vinicius Junior and Gonzalo Garcia. He said the situation was far more normal than it appeared and that his relationship with the player remained unchanged. Mbappe responded by saying he had no problem with the coach and accepted the need to respect team philosophy.
