Three Argentine tennis players secured victories in the first round of Roland Garros on Monday and advanced to the second stage of the tournament.
Mariano Navone defeated American Jenson Brooksby 6-4, 6-4 and 6-4. Camilo Ugo Carabelli overcame Emilio Nava in a three-set match 7-6, 6-2 and 6-3.
Francisco Cerúndolo completed the perfect day by beating Botic van de Zandschulp 6-3, 6-4, 6-7 and 6-4. These results added to Sunday's wins by Thiago Agustín Tirante and Marco Trungelliti.
Several remaining Argentine players will make their first-round debuts on Tuesday at the Paris Grand Slam.
